Business and Corporate Support
Together we are stronger. With the help of your business, collectively we can make a huge difference to our patients and families at what might be the most difficult time of their lives.
We work with a wide selection of businesses, large and small across the Sunderland and surrounding community, building relationships that will have a positive lasting impact on our patients and families whilst also helping boost your business profile, increase staff morale and help you to reach your Corporate Social Responsibility aims and more. Being part of Team Benedict will support us in continuing to deliver the highest standard of care to our patients and their loved ones.
The club is for businesses who want to make a difference in Sunderland by supporting local patients and their loved ones.
This year we are asking our local business community to pledge to raise funds to support the hospice in delivering free palliative care, advice, and support to patients dealing with a life limiting illness
Your support and the collective support of other local businesses will ensure we can continue to provide this free care to our patients and families across Sunderland and the surrounding area’s.
For example:
£20 could pay for resources for our Complementary Therapies team, for essential oils, to enable them to offer a range of treatments for patients. Complementary therapies can help patients feel calmer, more relaxed and in some cases relieve symptoms.
£50 could pay for resources for our Day Service team to run Memory Lane workshops, supporting patients to create memory boxes for their loved ones.
£100 could pay for a full day of our patient transport service, so that patients can get to and from their hospice appointments without charge or worry.
By joining the St Benedict’s Business Club you’ll be making a difference to people in your local community.
You’ll be helping our hospice to deliver care and services to over 4,000 people every year, living with a life-limiting illness across Sunderland and the surrounding area’s
And, you’ll be bringing your staff and other stakeholders together, united in a goal to help others.
How can you help and what can you expect from us?
By joining our business club and pledging to raise funds during 2026/27, your business will help St Benedict’s now and in the future.
