At St Benedict’s, we know how important it is that you receive timely advice and guidance from qualified professionals when required….
Palliative care aims to provide relief from suffering and improve the quality of life for both patients and their families. It takes an holistic approach, acknowledging that suffering is more than physical distress, and recognising that the patient requires a combination of physical, psychological, social and spiritual care. We offer both onsite and offsite service.
At St Benedict’s, we’re incredibly proud to provide a wide range of compassionate specialist care to people with any life limiting illness. Whether you require in-patient care, out-patient care or day services, there is a broad selection of support available to you, which can be tailored to your specific needs.
Our aim is to enable patients to achieve the best possible quality of life, whilst supporting the patient’s loved ones. We do so via a variety of methods, with care delivered by a multi-professional team consisting of doctors, nurses, chaplain, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social worker, complementary therapists and bereavement counsellor.
