Make A Will Month
Our Make a Will Month is an opportunity for you to make or update your Will, and ensure that those you care about will be provided for in the way that you wish.
This October, local solicitors Longden, Walker and Renney and Brian Mackenow & Co have kindly donated a number of appointments to help you make or update your will.
Writing your will is beneficial at any stage of life. If you get married, buy a property or have a family, these changes will directly affect your estate. Participating solicitors will give St Benedict's Hospice supporters the opportunity to draw up basic wills in exchange for a donation to the hospice. We are suggesting a donation of £75 for a single will or £100 for a joint will, which you leave with the solicitor along with a simple form, which the solicitor will sign and forward to the hospice.
How to make an appointment

Leaving a Gift in Your Will
By leaving a gift to St Benedict's Hospice in your will, your support will create a lasting legacy and help St Benedict's Hospice to continue to provide the very best of care and support to those in need in your local community today and in the future. Even the smallest of gifts in your will can ensure that we can make a big difference to the lives of our patients, helping them to make the most of the time they have with their family and loved ones.
You can choose to remember us in your will in several different ways, please ask your solicitor for more information.
If you have already made a will you can add a gift to St Benedict’s by drawing up a codicil, a simple addition to your will. Simply send it to your solicitor who should not charge you for adding it to your existing will, or do this through our Make a Will Month.
