The Linda Cook Memorial Match

A huge thank you goes out to Richie Wilkinson who organised and held a charity match in memory of his dear friend Linda Cook. The match was held on the 14th of September at the Ford Hub, South Hylton, to raise vital funds for St Benedict’s Hospice. Unite Washington and Go North East kindly sponsored the event, providing tops and trophies.

Lesley Wilkinson, Richie’s wife, also organised a food and cake sale at Northern Gas Networks where she works. Together, Linda’s family and friends raised a fantastic £678.45.
