Local firm supporting this year’s Light up a Life service
We are excited to announce that local firm Longden Walker & Renney Solicitors are supporting this year’s Light up a Life service. A huge thank you goes out to them for their continued support of St Benedict’s Hospice. The firm regularly support the hospice’s Make a Will Month and Director Laura Brydon has recently joined our Board of Trustees.
Laura said “we are delighted to support St Benedict’s Hospice at this special time of year. We know how much the hospice means to the local people of Sunderland and how important Light up a Life is in remembering loved ones at Christmas.”
This year we are looking forward to welcoming you to the Beacon of Light (Stadium Way, SR5 1SN) for our Light up a Life service on Sunday, 4th December.
We hope you are able to join us to celebrate the lives of those we love and are missing this Christmas.
During the service, the lights in the hospice grounds will be lit – each of them shining in memory of a loved one.
When you make a donation, we will send you a commemorative card with the name, or names, of your loved one.
We will also include your loved one’s name in our Light up a Life remembrance book 2022. Copies of the book will be available at the service or from the hospice from 5th December. To ensure inclusion in the service remembrance book, please make your dedication and donation by Friday, 11th November 2022.
