Bistro Cafe & Gift Shop
St Benedict's Bistro Cafe, Gift Shop & all Retail Charity Shops will open again on Wednesday 2nd December 2020.
We have a number of charity shops that are open 7 days a week. Full to the brim with clothing, accessories, ornaments, furniture and many other items! They are your go-to place to grab a bargain AND knowing that at the same time you will be supporting our services - thank you!
Trading hours are 9.30am - 4.30pm.(Monday to Saturday) and 11am to 4pm on a Sunday.

We also have our huge treasure filled Warehouse at Tempest Road, Seaham, SR7 7AX which is only open for trading on a Saturday between 9.30am and 3.30pm and a Sunday between 11am and 4pm where you can grab a wide range of bargains for the whole home. (01919171233).
We welcome donations of good quality items at all our shops and we can arrange collection if necessary. However there are a number of items we can't accept for legal and health & safety reasons. If you would like to find out more contact us.
Please note we can only accept limited donations at this time and all must be delivered to the back of the premises at whichever shop you choose to donate to. Please call ahead on the numbers above to inform us that you wish to donate goods. Thank You.
Retail Gift Aid
If you pay UK Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax your donations to our charity shops could be worth even more if you agree to complete a Retail Gift Aid Form when you donate your items. By completing this you will be agreeing to allow St Benedict's Hospice to act as an agent to sell your goods on your behalf and when the items are sold we will then be able to claim Gift Aid on the net proceeds. This means that for every £10 we raise from the sale of your items we will actually receive £12.50, all at no cost to yourself.
