COVID Secure Environment

The Education Suite at St Benedict’s Hospice has been risk assessed and has followed advice from Health and Safety and Infection Prevention Control. This is to ensure reasonable precautions have been taken so that Education and Training can be offered face to face in a COVID secure way;

Delegates will be informed: 

  • NOT to attend the training if you or a household member develop symptoms of COVID-19.
  • The Education Department  is classed as  a COVID secure environment therefore there is no need to wear face masks, unless you choose to, however you will still need to observe 2 metre social distancing at all times
  • If you choose to wear a face mask, there will be a supply available from the Education Department. 
  • Good hand hygiene will be promoted and should be maintained regularly throughout the day.
  • A register will be taken for track and trace purposes. If after your visit you develop symptoms in relation to COVID-19 please contact the Education Department to make them aware immediately.
  • If you are on a break and this includes breaks taken outside, you must stay two metres apart.
  • Please limit corridor conversations.  If you do need to stop and talk to another delegate in the corridor, you must stay two metres apart.
  • Toilet facilities have also being risk assessed with a safe social distance rule applied.
  • There is a Maximum Room Capacity for all rooms within the Education Department to ensure social distancing is adhered to.
